Nhân giống cây dâu tây Nhật (Fragaria ananassa “Penihuble”) từ nuôi cấy đỉnh sinh trưởng

An regeneration system was carried out to examine the competence of micropropagation from apical meristem culture of strawberry Fragaria ananassa “Penihuble”. The results showed that calli and somatic embryos were formed from apical meristem culture of runner tips on the MS medium supplemented with 30 g/l sucrose, 7 g/l agar, 0.2 mg/l NAA, 0.5 mg/l BA (gave the highest survival rate of 93.33%, the best induction callus rate of 60%, standing at 5.33 somatic embryos/sample). Calli multiplied with 8.56-fold fresh mass increase, formed somatic embryos with 15.78 embryos/initial callus when they were subcultured on the MS medium supplemented with 30 g/l sucrose, 7 g/l agar, 0.5 mg/l BA. These embryos converted into normal plants on the ½ MS medium with the best regeneration rate of 100% without plant growth regulators. Histological observation showed that these calli contained embryogenic cells. In the ex vitro culture, the highest survival rate was observed with mixture of Tribat substrate and rice husk ash in the ratio of 1:1 (72.33%) and no morphological variations were observed in these plantlets.
