An Giang: An ethnically and culturally heterogeneous world

This paper aims to provide a uniquely comprehensive overview of An Giang province in the Mekong Delta. Drawing on reviewing previous scholarly studies, the paper covers geographical, demographical, and livelihood characteristics; and highlights the heterogeneous features of ethnicity and culture in the region. It further uncovers the diverse and dynamic world of An Giang province in term of economic and cultural exchanges as well as cooperation between these ethnic groups in the area.
